perfecting the art of barely getting by

When people my age or older complain about finding their first gray hairs, I feel no sympathy.  I remember my first gray hair at age 20, found by some kids at the summer camp where I worked.

the cost of even my essentials (food, gas, internet) continue to rise but my pay rate stays the same.  the art of barely getting by gets more dicey all the time.

International Women's Day feels almost ironic the way Virginia politics have been recently.

forced to wear my glasses today.  if it wasn't for the eye strains and/or headaches that usually occur, I might seriously consider wearing them more often.

I bought the book Hunger Games today.  curiosity got the better of me and Walmart had it for $7

I discovered green apple twizzlers pull and peels.  a.maze.ing.

Mr. T. is in an old navy commercial.  he must really need the money, especially since he reminds me of the oompa loopas in the commercial.

I am signed up for year 14 of Camp Firefly.  it's never too early to start stocking up on glow sticks.

I have the impeccable ability to always catch 9:24, whether it be am, pm or both.  birthday time!

I need a hair cut and am in the mood for change.  but unless I want to shell out some serious money [that I don't have] my options are very limited.  the curse of thick, wavy hair.
