life doesn't come with an instruction manual

problem: having and using multiple library cards.  almost returned a book to the completely wrong place.

I always feel conflicted when libraries and book stores put books within a series in alphabetical order.  It's hard to resist rearranging them in their series orders like I do with my person collections.

I am a broken record.

sometimes I think I want to be on the show What Not To Wear, but then I quickly realize I don't want to toss my current wardrobe completely and would feel guilty going to the high-end boutiques they often feature.  I feel guilty spending more than $30 on any one thing.

One fashion trend I really hate is the thinness and transparency of clothing.  I rather not show the world my under garments but apparently the fashion industry thinks I should on a subtle level.  Thanks, but no thanks.  That's a view I reserve for a few select people.

one of these days, I promise myself I will start messing around with make-up.

french braiding is a whole lot harder to do on yourself than it is another person.  I can't see the back of my own head.

I think the most important lesson I have learned in recent years is to trust my gut.

I have reactivated my VCCS account and am now enrolled in a summer course at NoVA.

Fair Lakes Shopping Center is funny.  Not only does it have a Target and Walmart literally 500 feet apart, it also has a Modells Sports and Sports Authority right next to other.  competition or convenience?

My three favorite flowers are daisies, cherry blossoms and dandelions.  I don't care if the last one technically is a weed.
